Barbie LOOKS dolls popped up in 2020 with Bill Greening as designer. There was a lot of rumble as the dolls were released in small batches and people crazed over not finding them. Eventually they were sold just about everywhere. This set of dolls caused a lot of buzz for two reasons. They are all Made-to-Move and each doll had a new head sculpt and they even got a name from start! The dolls themselves are just a Model nr, but the sculpts got names: Lina, Elle, Kit, Jon, Sean and Victoria for series I (Black & White). The second series (Metallic) gave us six new sculpts: Tamika, Andra, Cam, Simone, Heide and Fryda. Third series (Color Blocks) gave us one new head; Brandon, while the rest had previously used heads. Tate appeared in the third set too. Mattel Creations also had a members only doll. If Mattel decides to go that route with upcoming series it will be a roar through the world as they don't ship to the whole globe, with Sweden being one of the non-listed countries. Highly annoying. A fourth set has been spotted and will be released this year. A pastel set of dolls.
