Airline bags

This is a tiny collection within. I have always loved the tiny airline bags that keeps popping up on second hand markets etc. I don't have the full story on these, but I do know that clone dolls carried a flight bag from different airlines. My thought has been, that these has been souvenirs carried by the airline shops around the world, but if that actually is true, I couldn't say. Ken and Barbie had one each in the 60's, of course saying American Airlines - still the US flag carrier. They were made in sturdy materials with a heavy fabric in navy blue and print in white and working zippers. Ken's bag was a darker, more midnight blue to match his darker Captain's suit, but only with the second release in 1965. The first release, in 1964 didn't have the bag.
Many of the companies below are out of business or incorporated into other carrier companies. Still. The bags are fun.
