In 2017 a new line of Ken dolls was revealed. Like Barbie, Ken went through a transformation and was given new body types, Broad and Slim, but also with a new "Original" body. He also was seen with a variety of new face/head sculpts. This is one of the most talked about ones. The manbun! Some cried But WHY? Others went ballisticly happy. Carlisle Nuera created a manbun for a series of OOAK dolls sold at a Barbie convention in 2016 and people ohhed and aahed over the manbun included there. He had rooted hair though, while this guy is made with a molded hairdo.
