The Happy Family was introduced in 2003 and the family was the mommy-to-be Midge, her husband Alan and their son Ryan. Much debated pregnant Midge got revised and her baby tummy removed. Well, in the older sets the baby is delivered, while Midge still has her belly on (fastens with magnets). The baby was small enough to fit inside. These babies don't have a stamp with a year mark, just Mattel and some numbers on the back.
They have a fully moveable body with the head in a swivel joint and arms and legs move forward/backward to curl up. Hair is molded and painted.
