12 Dancing Princesses®

One of Mattel's strenghts in later years, is to make a bundle of dolls at once, mostly connected to an animated movie. In 2006 they Mattel spun on with the fairy tale and movie theme which literally exploded in new dolls with the 12 Dancing Princesses. This is by far the most extended set of dolls ever produced. I recently got my hands on the full set (April '08) and have taken new photos of them all and swapped the bad shop photos I had for these. Sorry about the strands of hair here and there... Was in too much of a rush to photograph them!

I am still missing AA versions of most dolls. First caucasian version of Genevieve is made with the closed mouth Mackie face while later versions came with the smiling millenium face and the AA version with the Asha face. The three tiniest triplets are of course made with the smiling Kelly face. Ashlyn also, was released in a Caucasian version at a later point.
