Kelly/Shelly Club: "Spring/Summer" ©2000-1
The 2001 (©2000) first batch gave us an
array of kids ready for spring and summer fun. Melody kept her darker brown
hair. She was sold in Europe in a bigger box with the kitty and a bed for
the feline. Kelly in both CC and AA versions is out for an early flower
picking stroll. Tommy plays along the shore line with his boat while Lorena
and Desiree hits the waves on their surfboards (only printed paper though),
but they can at least spend some time in the sand building sand castles with
their bucket and shovel. They also sported articulated legs for better
movement. In hindsight I am not sure these were the first dolls to get these
legs, but as soon as I get my date etc in order I will know. There are a few
